ちなみに、会話のスクリプトを読んでも、理解できない場合は、読解力が不足している状態ですので、並行して、必ず読解力を付ける勉強をされてください。
理由は、読んでわからない英文が、聞いたらわかるということはないからです。
読解力の鍛え方は、①単語を覚える、②文法を学習する、③長文読解練習をする、が基本的なトレーニングとなります。

1)
A: How’s that report coming along?
B: It’s coming, but I’m still working on it.
A: Drop everything else and grab some help if you need it. I want it submitted ASAP.
2)
A: My secretary is out sick. I need you to fill in until he’s back on his feet. Check in with Sandra; she can postpone any deadlines on current assignments.
B: Can’t you get Jerry to do it?
A: Jerry’s working on something important, it has to be you.

A: The boss is hounding me for that report again. Are you able to help on this?
B: I’m not familiar with the material, but what are you working with?
A: Sales reports and forecasting. The data entry is killing me.
B: I know some Python that can help with that. Send me what you got and I’ll try to automate the data entry.
A: You’re a lifesaver!

A: This weeks schedule doesn’t work for me. None of my sick leave requests went through.
B: Same. For whatever reason, management has reduced my hours, again.
A: Do you want to take a couple of my shifts? The crew leader will approve it for sure.

A: Hi. Did you find everything you needed today?

A: Great. How will you be paying?
B: By card. Can I get some cashback?
